Information For Volunteers

If you live locally or nearby, volunteer opportunities are posted at the Volunteer & Info Booth. Someone will be there from 10:00AM-3:00PM Thursday through Saturday.  It is located across the street from Hot Springs Elementary School at Gallery 339 (339 US-25, Hot Springs, NC 28743).

By filling out this volunteer availability form, you are agreeing to share your phone number with local residents. A homeowner in Hot Springs may call you for volunteer assistance.

Our Volunteer Needs

Thank you for your desire to help rebuild Hot Springs! Our daily volunteer needs frequently change. Right now, we’re focused on cleaning, sorting, and rebuilding.

  • Cleaning: Removing mud, debris, trash, or sanitizing homes and buildings. PPE varies and is required.
  • Sorting: Organizing materials or packing items.
  • Rebuilding: masonry, carpentry and electricians.

Our greatest need is becoming contractors willing to lend their knowledge and skills towards rebuilding our homes and businesses.

Volunteers may only enter buildings that have been inspected as safe. Signs are posted on homes and businesses that are deemed dangerous by the county or FEMA. Please abide by the signs. All volunteer work is at your own risks.

~We also need volunteers at our booth from 10:00AM-3:00PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. ~

If you have a group (more than 5 people) or coming in from out of town,  please fill out the form below.
